Band Hotline -  540/387-8187

Current band information can obtained by called the Band Hotline, a recorded information phone line.  The Band Director, Mr. Jim Paxton, updates it weekly with schedule updates and other current information.  Most importantly, the Hotline is used to provide timely information when the band is traveling.  Mr. Paxton uses his cell phone to update the Hotline regularly.  This information can be as simple as announcing expected arrival times at the high school following Friday away football games, or more complex information regarding band competition trips.  Those updates usually include updates like "we arrived safely", "we perform at 9:15 PM", "our competition results were ...", and similar items, including the all important updates on the actual arrival times at Salem High school on the return trip.

Parents:  You'll use the Hotline often, so consider programming it into your phone, or memorizing it!
