Travel Information

When available, directions to band events and contests will be posted here.  Advice on nearby housing options for overnight band travel may also be provided.

Band Camp

Greenbrier Youth Camp, Anthony, WV.  From Salem, take I-81 North to US 220 North.  Take 220 through Clifton Forge and get onto I-64 West, headed toward Lewisburg, WV.  At the Lewisburg exit (1 hour and 40 minutes from Salem) turn right onto route 219.  Continue for nearly 10 miles.  When you pass an Exxon on the right followed by a cemetery on the right, you will turn right onto Anthony Road.  Go about 5 miles on this road (note: name of road may change).  At each fork in the road, take the downhill option.  Caution: this road narrows to a single paved lane, with gravel shoulders.  You need to pull partially onto the shoulder when passing oncoming traffic! When you finally cross the Greenbrier River, turn left.  The camp will be on your left shortly.  Emergency phone at the camp is 304/497-2168 (Mr. Larry Cordell).  Cell phones typically don't work in this remote, deep valley.
